This little country recently celebrated its 175th anniversary of independence.

There are plenty of interesting things to find out in Belgium tourist information, and many of the country's attractions can be visited year round. There are lots of good museums, shops, restaurants, cafes, and pubs.

Belgium is a small compact size country which is surrounded by Germany, Netherlands, and, France which makes it an ideal place to travel. From the villages and forests of Ardennes hills and diamond district of Antwerp in north and Flanders to the castles of Wallonia and the historic battlefields, Belgium has lot to offer which attracts a large numbers of travelers from almost all over the world.

Brussels, the heart and capital of Belgium, is an art nouveau delight where beers, chips, chocolates and waffles are the staple dishes stimulating a nightlife of energizing rock concerts, casinos, and bars all over the city.

Beginning in Brussels move towards the lower town at the grand place where you can enjoy Belgian beer and coffee with the company of metaphorical guild houses surrounding a stunning square. The Musees Royaux des Beaux Arts and the Manneken-Pis the bronze town hall of the 15th Century are all must watch. Visit to the chocolate museum and a look around more than hundreds of art nouveau buildings are also worth visiting.

Outwards of Brussels, a boat ride on the charming canals of calm Bruges and visit the Groeninge and the Memling museums to get a glimpse of Belgian art. Likewise, the churches, the historic houses and the Ghents canal would amuse any one visiting the Flanders district in the north. Grevensteen Castle and the St. Bavo Cathedral with its dungeon and crypt are quite impressive as well.

In the south of Belgium, beautiful villages and castles proliferate. Ardennes hills or the Wallonia is perfect for the nature lovers. Chimay castle, Citadel of Dinart, and the Bouillon castle on the Meuse River are all stunning.

Rent a vehicle and drive all the ways of Celles, Lompret, and Aubechies to have a rural experience of the south Belgium. Especially the town of Spa and, its remedial water magnetize large number of people towards it which also includes Tzar Peter the great of Russia, all since 18th century.

One of the most fascinating places in Belgium tom visit is town Brugge. It is know that Brugge is among the most stunning towns in entire Western Europe. Previously it was considered as one of the most significant trading settlements and trade ports. Even it gave birth to various banks, credit cards, and many other which are normal for us these days. Moreover the word Bourse now as Stock Exchange is originated from there which was the surname of the mended the place for negotiation among the different merchants in 1309 in Brugge, which afterwards urbanized into a convoluted fiscal market with a range of financial features.
