If you are an adventurous person and enjoy a romantic destination more than one that offers miles of chrome and glass high-rises, Cuba might be the perfect spot for you. Cuba tours are for those of you with a soul that can appreciate atmosphere in all its different forms.
During the miserable winters of the Northern hemisphere, Cuba is the ideal place to break away for a couple of weeks of sunshine. What you will find in Cuba is not only warm weather but warm and friendly people with a passion for music and culture.
Your tour will most likely start in Havana. This place simply overflows with character. From the crumbling old colonial buildings to the numerous cars dating back to the 50's and 60's, everything simply adds to the charm of the city.
Numerous lively night-time music venues further add to the charm that is Havana. Spending a few hours at the renowned sea wall (malecon) just enjoying the gentle salty breezes is an experience you will remember for a long time.
There is more to Cuba than Havana, though. In the south of the country you will find Baracoa - in a location so splendid that Christopher Columbus was of the opinion that no human eye could ever see a place more beautiful. It is a city also known for its seafood restaurants.
The country's second largest city, Santiago de Cuba, is a heady mix of salsa, colonial churches, museums and the faint smell of revolution in the air - it is after all "the cradle of the Revolution."
The third largest city in Cuba is Camaguey. If you find this a confusing city to navigate, nobody will blame you. It was specifically planned to be confusing when it was founded in the 17th century - to keep away pirates, robbers and other attackers. There are many parks, the market garden is a beehive of activity and there are also many art galleries.
Trinidad is a must-see for anyone visiting Cuba. It is widely regarded as being one of the most beautiful colonial cities in Cuba. There are also many great beaches in the area where you can relax after a night of partying in one of the numerous live music venues.
Whether you are looking for Cuba tours that concentrate on culture, nature, history or sport you are sure to have a life-altering experience that will stay with you long after you have left.
