St. Petersburg is the imperial crown with grandeur of the Winter Palace and the specially designed streets, squares, canals, bridges, churches and palaces.

Undoubtedly the crowing glory is the State Hermitage, which houses more than three million works of art and artefacts of the world culture.

The main collection is displayed in the Winter Palace, the former state residence of the Russian emperors.

The city of Ekaterinburg, is located at the crossroads of Europe and Asia, and is known as the city where Bolsheviks killed the last Russian tsar Nicolas II and his family in 1918.
