Hi I'm Yvonne Ivinson my travel experiences are varied and subject to my individual interpretation. I hope you enjoy my recollections.
A travel story is that person’s view of a particular moment in time. Holiday stories and holiday tales can range from ‘my holiday heaven’ all the way to ‘my holiday hell’. I love to read about other people’s vacation stories and from that I can get a feel of what that place or experience is really like. If you have visited the ‘about us page’ you will have seen the photograph of my husband and I hiking down into the Grand Canyon. The hike that we did was not a fully recognised hike and information on it was fairly limited. Using the Internet search engines we were able to find reports of people who had done the hike before. I found these reports very helpful because they prepared me for what to expect on our trek. So in a kind of reciprocal act I have put together some of my travel highlights that readers may find helpful. Of course I realise that they are merely my view but I hope you will enjoy them. You will find a list at the bottom of the page.
Neither am I trying to publish a book, it’s just a few thoughts that I want to share. My aim is to describe a particular travel event that would be appreciated by visitors to this website. The experiences are relevant to a particular place or activity, rather than an essay on the wonders of travel. I would think that many people are looking for reports about a specific place or like me looking for additional information on a particular activity. I trust my travel tales have some value as it adds to the picture of what people can expect from their various trips. Have you some recollections that you would like to share with our visitors.
